Christmas is the Favorite Time of Year

By Yvonne Brixey

Christmas time is most people's favorite time of year. It is a time for family, friends, gifts, and enjoying life. For children Christmas time is very magical. The spirit of Christmas affects children the most and they get so excited counting down the days. Do you remember having so much fun writing letters to Santa each year? You probably remember hoping you would get a letter from Santa in return. Children feel so special when they receive a letter from the North Pole. It is so exciting for children to write their letter to Santa, including a wish list, writing about how good they have been this year, and sending it away in the mail box.

Children are so naive and innocent. They are able to believe without question that Santa Claus is real. This is why Christmas time is so exciting for children. Imagine how exciting it would be to get a letter from Santa in the mail. Everyone loves getting a personal letter in the mail, but a children getting one from Santa Claus would be just fantastic. Do something special for your child this year that they will remember for years. Start at the beginning of the month by writing having your child write a letter to Santa. Make this very fun and memorable for your child. Even mention that there could be a possibility of Santa writing a letter back to get their hopes up.

When the letter is all complete, have them write the address of the North Pole on the envelope. If you are wondering how you will pull off a letter from Santa, there are some ways you can do this. A letter from Santa will make their Christmas holiday so special and memorable. When they see that envelope with their name on it from the North Pole, they will be ecstatic. To make this happen you can find a company that does Santa letters or you can make one yourself. Their age should determine how you go about it.

If you decide to write your own Santa letter to your child, make sure you act as if you were Santa when writing. Write details about your child that they wrote in their original Santa letter. Remember to make it a personal letter, including things like their age, interests, and things that Santa would talk about. This will make it more believable. You need to find a way to make it look like it came from the North Pole and not from you. Be creative and make it look postmarked form the North Pole and from Santa Claus' own house. Be sure that you wait a week or two so that your child will believe his letter made it to the North Pole, Santa read the letter, wrote back and mailed it to your house. He will then believe he got a real letter from Santa.

Any child will feel so special after receiving a letter from Santa. It will raise their Christmas spirit and have them talking about their real letter from Santa to everyone they see. If they are starting to question if Santa Claus is real, this Santa letter will keep them believing for at least another year. Your child will love the Santa letter and will always keep that memory with them. Christmas; The Favorite Time of Year
