By Debrah Langston

If you are looking for the perfect place for a vacation, look no farther than Copper Canyon, Mexico. In addition to recreational activities such as biking, hiking and riding all terrain vehicles, visitors are welcomed by the native culture of the local peoples, the indigenous tribe of the region.

Basaseachic Falls is also located in Copper Canyon and is Mexico's second highest waterfall. Visiting both of these waterfalls will give you ample opportunities to photograph lovely rainbows and optical effects of light shimmering through the water spray of the falls.

One popular form of entertainment for the local people is a community race called which is played by kicking a ball on canyon pathways. While many native villages welcome tourists and the opportunity to educate visitors, they are careful to retain their cultural heritage and traditional ways.
